SYRACUSE, N.Y. - It was another beautiful day as runners headed to Syracuse University for the third annual "A Run for Their Life."
The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund created the event three years ago and it is the only breast cancer run held in Syracuse whose proceeds go directly to SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Runners participated in a 15k or a 5k run and the main purpose was to celebrate and honor those who have dealt with breast cancer or are currently battling it.
"The greatest part about today is that you come here and everybodys purpose is we're all aligned together as one. And everyone's purpose together is to run to find the cure," said Jacqueline Baldwin, Associate Director of the Carol M. Baldwin Cancer Research Fund.
Y-N-N was a proud sponsor of the event.
