AUBURN, N.Y. -- An Auburn police officer is out of the hospital after being injured trying to arrest a suspect in a high-speed chase.
Investigators say Anthony McNealy, 29, led them on a chase early Saturday morning. He eventually bolted out of the car and got into a fight with officers who tried to arrest him.
Officer David Walters was hurt in the incident and had to be hospitalized. He is now recovering at home, but hasn't been able to return to work.
McNealy, meanwhile, faces numerous charges, including DWI, assault and driving without a license.
