SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Next spring, we should begin to see changes to the shops and restaurants at Syracuse's Hancock Airport. A new concessions contract has been awarded to Creative Food Group, out of New York City.
The company plans to invest $3.3 million to develop new concession space and improve the areas that currently exist at the airport. Among some of the new stops you could see are a Middle Ages Brewing Company pub, two Market Fresh food shops and a Johnny Rockets restaurant. The company also proposed opening three retail shops.
Delaware North has handled concessions at the airport for more than 20 years. Their contract is up at the end of March.
