SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Clay man charged in connection with a 2011 fire in Van Buren was sentenced to prison on Thursday.
Karl Coe was sentenced to three and a half years in prison, followed by two years of post release supervision. He has been charged with attempted arson.
According to deputies, Coe set fire to an elderly woman's home on Baker Boulevard. The woman was rescued from her home by a neighbor, but the home was a total loss.
Coe was also required to pay $1,500 in restitution.
