SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The victim in Wednesday's deadly car accident involving a pedestrian has been identified.
It was just before 7 a.m. Wednesday when Deborah Daniels, 59, was hit by the car in the 200 block of Ainsley Avenue. She was taken to the hospital with a severe head injury and later died. Police say she was hit by a car driven by John Cisternino, 38, from Liverpool.
No charges have been filed.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
