ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Rome woman is facing several charges including DWI for crashing her car into a Town of Western home.
Deputies say Grace Pirillo, 47, lost control on a curve on Elmer Hill Road just before 10 o'clock Saturday morning. The car hit a parked vehicle before hitting a house.
Pirillo and her passenger, Mark Salerno, 53, of Oriskany were taken to area hospitals.
Salerno is listed in critical condition. Pirillo was treated for rib, neck, and leg pain. No one inside the home was hurt.
Pirillo is charged with first and second degree vehicular assault, and driving while intoxicated.
She was arraigned at the hospital and is now being held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of 50-thousand dollars cash bail.
