ITHACA, N.Y. -- Police in Ithaca have arrested a teen in connection with the stabbing that injured four women.
According to officers, they responded to a fight on Chestnut Street around 8 p.m. on Thursday. After arriving to the scene, they found four victims with stab wounds. Officers said none of the injuries appeared to by life threatening.
After investigation, police arrested Dante Sweat, 17. He is charged with one count of second degree assault. Sweat was arraigned and sent to Tompkins County Jail on $10,000 bail.
Police said more charges are pending.
