SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A local diner is closed Monday after an early morning fire.
Syracuse fire crews were called to QD's Valley Diner on South Salina Street just after 1:30 a.m. According Syracuse Fire Lieutenant John Cussen, there was heavy fire damage to the structure, and is unsure if the building will be able to reopen.
Nobody was injured, but it took crews about an hour to get the fire under control.
Cussen said the building was secured Sunday night when employees left the diner. The investigation is ongoing.
