ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Wegmans and its Rochester-based workers union head back to the drawing table on Wednesday. The discussions come after members of Teamsters Local 118 voted down another contract proposal.
Both sides have been negotiating for more than one month. Tuesday was the second time union members rejected a proposed agreement.
According to Wegmans, teamsters used several tactics to embarass the company. Teamsters could be seen picketing at the headquarters, hand billing in stores, and hiring a plane to fly over the Buffalo Bills game with a message that read, "Wegmans wants Buffalo to lose."
