FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.Y. -- The President of Paul Smith's College has announced his retirement.
John Mills announced he will be stepping down in June after he leading the college for ten years. He joined the college in 2000 as Vice President, and has helped achieve some of the school's biggest goals.
Mills played a large roll in transforming the college from a two year school to a four year school. He also helped to increase academic support for students, and assisted with the expansion of the campus.
The Executive Committee of the college will be meeting Wednesday to finalize plans to find a new president.
