SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- After being captured in Niagara Falls, murder suspect Eric Woody was in Syracuse Tuesday morning for his arraignment.
Woody was arraigned on charges of second degree murder, and second degree criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting death of Shqair Shqair. He is accused of robbing Sabatino's Pizza and Deli before shooting Shqair.
U.S. Marshals were able to track Woody to Niagara Falls where they found him under a sink inside of a home.
In court Tuesday, Woody was assigned a lawyer, and a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. He is currently being held without bail.
