NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- A bit of the Fair Isle was brought to the fairgrounds when Irish step dancers took the stage at the Colonnade.

This was the second year the dancers from the Kinlough Academy performed at the fair. The featured dancers are as young as three-years-old.

Organizers say the best thing about these performances are the learning experiences for the little ones.

"Basically, just getting the girls up and getting them experience to dance in front of audiences. And just showing everybody what they have learned how to do over the past year," said dance instructor Siobahn Rodrigus.
