NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- Over at the Sports Activity Center, it's all about speed. The Hot Dog Pig Races are keeping families entertained throughout the duration of the fair.

Each show includes five races that showcases running pigs and hurdling pigs, as well as wiener dogs dressed as hot dogs and superheroes You can check it out every day at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Organizers say it doesn't take long to get these little competitors ready for the action.

"It takes about a week to train a pig to do the job. They are extremely intelligent. It takes about three months to take the dogs to do the same thing," said David Feimster.
