NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- Syracuse University held an early pep rally on the fairgrounds Friday in anticipation of the first football game of the season.

The pep band and cheerleaders entertained fans outside the Time Warner Cable Building.

The team is going up against Northwestern at the Carrier Dome Saturday at noon.
