NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- There's one group of animals who never disappoint at the fair. The majestic animals always impresses the crowds at the Coliseum. Judges score the teams in three categories: performance, equipment, and the requirement of six horses.
The World Championship will be held at the Oklahoma State Fair in three weeks. The teams here at the fair have until the end of Monday to become a contender. Officials said it is all about racking up the points.
"Its a pointed series for all the draft horse members in North America, which includes Canada and the United States. We have a championship each year and its decided on the accumulation of points," said Alfred Rovenolt, Draft Classes Ring Master.
