If you're a sports fan, especially a fan of an out-of state team, then the sports store across from the Coliseum at the fairgrounds is a must. My Favorite Sports Store offers everything from team car mats to shirts, hats, and shirts. There's plenty of good deals and a lot of great merchandise. You'll be surprised how much merchandise can fit under one tent! That's today's Best Bet!

When do you get an opportunity to get up close to an owl, hawk, or vulture? Not often. That's because these birds would be quick to fly away if they had a chance. Well, at the NYS Fair, Brad found out you can get an up close look at some exotic birds as they're tethered down and trained by professionals. Look for daily bird shows just north of the Fair Fountain across the Horticulture Building. A very cool exhibit, and that's today's Best Bet!

There’s a lot of fun to be had in the Adventure Zone with the Power Jump. Kids can jump and flip off a trampoline, giving them laughs all day. Kids seem to love this particularly because they feel safe jumping at least 20 to 30 feet in the air. The lines have been long throughout the duration of the fair and for the amount of time you get, it’s worth the price. The Power Jump is today’s best bet!

The fair is all about finding things you don't expect to see. Although it’s been around for many years, the Christmas Tree Exhibit is hidden next to the Horticulture Building. You can find information about different varieties of trees and other Christmas oriented merchandise. It’s a great stop in an area you may not ordinarily look for. That's today’s Best Bet!

On a hot day at the Fair, there's nothing like a freshly squeezed cup of lemonade. You can visit one of lemon booths operated by the Paradise Companies to get some of the refreshing treat. The lemonade is always freshly squeezed and comes with plenty of sweet taste. Definitely a best bet if you like lemonade for an affordable price.
