NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- Pop duo Karmin was first to perform at Chevy Court on Day One. The duo shot to fame in 2011 with their remixes of songs like Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now" and their single "Brokenhearted," which hit 16 on the Billboard's Hot 100 list.

Our JoDee Kenney spoke to Karmin about their recent fame and what next for them.

"Well, we have a shot at being on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine actually next month. It's insane. They nominated us for the Women Who Rock Contest, so if you go to www.rollingstone.com/womenwhorock, you can vote for Karmin. We're up against another very talented lady called Rita Ora so, hopefully we got New York on our side. We do have New York on our side," they said.
