NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- It was mayhem as the British pop sensation The Wanted signed autographs in Time Warner Cable Building.
Teenie boppers from all over the state were crying and screaming as the five members of the boy band walked out.
The group had to be escorted by State Police to get to the grandstand for their 7:30 p.m. performance.
They talked to us in an YNN exclusive about their fame and reception at the Great New York State Fair.
"I think a lot of the girls have been waiting for us to come near them, so when we did come close, they all flocked to us and emitted fluid from their eyes. It was beautiful," The Wanted member Jay said.
