NY STATE FAIR -- If you visit the fairgrounds today, it certainly doesn't look like it did during the Great New York State Fair.
There may not be 100,000 people there, but the Tuesday after the fair is always still busy. Crews work quickly to take down the rides, pile up the traffic cones, and clean up the remaining trash left on the grounds.
Some permanent structures just close up shop and stay put until next year. However, the tents are taken down and the buildings cleared out to get ready for the next big event at the fairgrounds.
