Former Governor Spitzer votes for president in Manhattan
MANHATTAN, N.Y. -- Former Governor Eliot Spitzer was in Manhattan, where he cast his ballot for president today. Spitzer waited in a long voting line, with his wife Silda by his side.
In a rare TV appearance since his disgraced resignation, the former governor said he's amazed by the voter turnout.

"Fourteen years, 15 years. Have you ever seen a line like this? No. This is great, this shows public is concerned, activism is democracy. This is what you would hope to see on Election Day, hopefully it's like this around the nation,” said Eliot Spitzer.
Spitzer, a Democrat, was governor of New York until a prostitution scandal forced him to resign in March.
