Parkway Bus Tragedy: Four killed in Liverpool bus crash

The investigation continues to unfold into Saturday morning's tragic crash along the Onondaga Lake Parkway in Liverpool. Four people were killed, and more than 20 hurt when a double-decker bus slammed into the railroad bridge that runs over the Parkway. The one person who has been identified is the driver, John Tomaszewski, 59, suffered a serious head injury and is still in the hospital. Meanwhile, the investigation into how this happened is still ongoing. Our Sarah Hagen has the latest.

ACA victims remembered on second anniversary

It's been two years since tragedy struck at the American Civic Association. On April 3, 2009, a lone gunman entered the immigrant services center in Binghamton, killing 13 people before turning the weapon on himself. Sunday, family and friends of the victims gathered for a memorial. Our Janelle Burrell reports.

There will be remembrances Sunday at Syracuse University and Arlington National Cemetery to mark the 20th anniversary of the bombing of Pan Am flight 103. Thirty-five students from Syracuse and a number of others from across New York State died in that bombing on December 21st, 1988. One other town will be remembering what happened. But as our Bill Carey reports, that town would rather sometimes forget.

This Sunday, there will be ceremonies in Syracuse, Washington and in Lockerbie, Scotland, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the bombing of Pan Am flight 103. Our Bill Carey has spent time with families of some of the victims of that bombing. He reports from Lockerbie that it is those families that are credited with making sure the U.S. And British governments would not forget the lessons of Pan Am 103.

That day, 270 people lost their lives, dozens with ties to Upstate New York.
