Jockey Ramon Dominguez won the first race of Monday's program at Saratoga Race Course, the day after he tied a record with six victories.
Dominguez won the race on Decisive Move, the 4-1 third choice in the wagering, who paid $10.20. It was Dominguez' fourth consecutive victory at Saratoga.
In 11 races including Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Dominguez has eight wins, two seconds and one fifth.
On Sunday, he won six times to equal the Saratoga record set by John Velazquez on September 3, 2012.
Dominguez said he spent a little bit of time relishing his accomplishment.
"I kept thinking about the day and how smooth everything went," he said. "I was very happy with getting six wins, but as soon as I got home I opened the Racing Form for today and starting looking at my horses for today. That day was already over.
"Don't get me wrong, that is something that I will remember forever and I'm still thinking about it. It's very rewarding to win six races. Now, I'm very focused on today."
