Leading rider Ramon Dominguez picked up three more winners Monday and ended the first 10 days of the 2012 season with 21 victories, 10 more than runner-up Jose Lezcano.
Dominguez won the second race on Sunny Desert, the fourth on World Premier and the seventh on La Pernelle.
It was the second consecutive day that Dominguez won three races on the program. He has five multiple-win days, has won at least one race every day of the meet and on Sunday, July 22 tied the Saratoga record of six winners on a single card.
Dominguez is on pace for 84 victories in the season. The Saratoga record of 65 was set by John Velazquez in 2004. Dominguez won the Saratoga riding title in 2009 and has been the leading rider in New York the past three years.
