We at YNN are very proud to tell you about a huge honor for one of our own, and for our channel in general. Senior Reporter Bill Carey has been honored with a New York Emmy for outstanding writing. Bill was recognized for his work on the documentary Deadly Delusion, which was telecast a year ago, on the first anniversary of the tragic American Civic Association murders in Binghamton.

This is Bill’s third Emmy in his long career in local television, but his first since joining YNN in 2003. It’s also the first-ever Emmy win for YNN after three nominations. Congratulations Bill!
