Michelle Tumulo led the Orange to victory with 4 goals and an assist. Alyssa Murray and Katie Webster each had 3 goals and an assist. SU faces top-seeded Florida in the NCAA semifinals in Stony Brook, next Friday at 5:30.

Cortland is back in the NCAA D-3 championship after getting past rival Tufts Sunday with a 12-10 victory in the semi-final round. The Red Dragons trailed 9-4 in the second half before closing out the game on an 8-1 run.

The Chiefs couldn't hold on to a one run lead in the 9th, losing to Toledo 5-2 on a walk-off three run homer. Josh Wilkie gave up the big blast to Brad Elred after the Mud Hens tied it earlier in the inning.

Laurie Fine is seeking both compensatory and punitive damages in her lawsuit against ESPN. Our Katie Gibas spoke with a legal expert about the case and tells us what Fine and her lawyer will have to prove to win.
As promised last week, attorneys for the plaintiffs in the Jim Boeheim defamation lawsuit have filed an appeal in the case.
Through all the twists and turns of the Bernie Fine scandal, the Fine family has remained silent up to this point. But later this week, we may hear from one of the major players in the case, Laurie Fine.
Trailing by three goals with less than three minutes to play, the No. 4-seeded Syracuse women's lacrosse team rallied to beat No. 5 North Carolina 17-16 in the NCAA Division I quarterfinals on Saturday.
