Hamilton wins D-III national championship
The Hamilton women’s lacrosse team was played for the D-III national championship, taking on Franklin and Marshall.
In the first half of the game, Hamilton had the 1 to 0 lead. Hamilton continued to play hard all throughout the game, leading 9 to 4 in the second half.

The celebration is on as Hamilton claims the D-III national championship with a final score of 13 to 6.
When Hamilton returned home to Clinton there was a hero’s welcome on campus for the newly crowned D-III national champs.
The Continentals wrapped up a dream season going 21-1 and claiming the first NCAA championship in any sport in school history.
