SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Former Christian Brothers football star Greg Paulus will take a step closer to becoming an SU football player when he comes back to town to meet with the coaching staff this weekend.
We've confirmed Paulus will attend the Duke basketball banquet this Friday night before heading to Syracuse on Saturday...
Paulus has one year of college football eligibility and is also being pursued by Michigan and reportedly Nebraska, among others..
Meanwhile one quarterback we know is coming here is Long Island senior John Kinder out of Lawrence High School.

Kinder has given his verbal commitment to come to Syracuse in 2010. And his coach said Monday night he's called all his other suitors to tell them not to bother, he's totally committed to SU. His coach says Kinder was going to visit Rutgers last weekend before the SU coaches called and offered a scholarship..
Kinder threw for 1,000 and ran for 1,000 yards last year for the same school that produced Lyle Alzado.
