Orange not over-confident as they prepare for Siena
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- They won a national championship against Navy on Memorial Day, so the Orange can certainly face the challenge of playing the Saints this Sunday when they begin their march to Memorial Day against a MAAC team for the second year in a row.

Last year, SU crushed Canisius in their tournament debut and will try and do the same to Siena this Sunday.

Although the Saints may not be overly intimidated having already played a game at Johns Hopkins, and led that game after one quarter in the first game of the season.

Siena also played the University of Albany tough, only giving up eight goals to the Danes who scored eight in one quarter against the Orange.

So SU can't afford to be overconfident and they didn't sound like it Monday.

The Orange have never lost a playoff game at the Dome.

The first-round faceoff is set for Sunday at 7:30.
