Former SU basketball star Jonny Flynn was sent down the NBDL by the Minnesota Timberwolves Wednesday to continue his rehabilitation from off-season hip surgery.

YNN cameras caught up with Flynn at Madison Square Garden Monday night where he said he's treating his D-League games like training camp and feels he's almost ready to return to the NBA court.

Flynn had eight points and nine assists in his D-League debut for the Sioux Falls SkyForce last Friday and will play back-to-back games for the SkyForce this weekend.

If the hip responds well Flynn is expected to make his 2010 season debut for the Timberwolves next week.
