SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Three years after arriving as a walk-on linebacker, SU fullback and co-captain Adam Harris has become quite a success story at Syracuse.
Harris led the state of Pennsylvania in tackles as a senior at Tonawanda HS and was named the 2007 Elmira Star-Gazette player of the year.
After spending one season on the sidelines at Cornell, Harris transferred to Syracuse and made the team as a walk-on in 2009.
Harris did not play in any games his first year at SU, making it the second straight season he sat out. But after starting 10 games in 2010, Harris was elected co-captain this fall and scored his first career touchdown against Wake Forest last week. He says he's even exceeded his own goals at this point in his college career.
