SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Siriki Diabate may be in his first season in Division I football, but the junior college transfer is starting to look like a veteran for Syracuse.

Diabate was a playmaker at Nassau Community College, scoring three defensive touchdowns last season. His last two games for SU have been his most-impressive as he recorded a team-high seven tackles against West Virginia and recovered a fumble at Louisville.

Syracuse next plays at UConn Saturday at noon. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
