WASHINGTON, D.C. - The finalists for the men's and women's Tewaaraton Awards were announced on Wednesday and, as usual, there are several local players on the lists.

Three of the 25 men's finalists are from area colleges: Syracuse's Brian Megill, Colgate's Peter Baum, and Cornell's Roy Lang. The women's list of 25 also has three finalists from Central New York: Alyssa Murray and Michelle Tumolo from Syracuse and Jessi Steinberg from Cornell. The winners will receive the awards May 31 in Washington, D.C.
