CAMILLUS, N.Y. - The sixth-ranked West Genesee boys lacrosse team took care of business and then some on Thursday night, routing one-win Syracuse East 22-2.
Matt Schattner led the charge with four goals and one assist and Tim Barber added three and two for the Wildcats, who are now 9-1 overall.
It was the 750th career win for head coach Mike Messere, extending the national record for career boys lacrosse wins he set earlier this season.
