CORTLAND, NY-- The Brockport Golden Eagles struck early and often and were able to out score the Geneseo Knights in a slug fest Friday afternoon in the SUNYAC softball tournament. Brockport out lasted Geneseo by the score of 16-12.

The two teams combined for 26 hits in a game where the pitchers struggled and weren't getting much help from their defenses. The teams combined for 8 errors.

Geneseo has now been eliminated from the tournament.
