SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Having made the NJCAA Division III tournament for the 17th-straight year, the Onondaga Community College men's tennis team is hoping to win just its second team title in that span next week in Texas.
The Lazers won that national championship, the only one in program history, in 2008, and say this year's team has the talent, depth, and experience to win another. They also have a great idea of what they will be up against as they played four of the 11 other finalists during the regular season.
The tournament is being hosted by Collin College in Plano, Texas. Play begins Monday and runs through Friday.
