VESTAL, NY--It's been a unique season for the Binghamton University baseball team, with zero games on campus this year due to the construction of its new field.
But the end of the road is in sight with just seven games to go in the regular season.
The beginning of the end starts with a four game set in Albany this weekend.
Binghamton enters the series with a 10-5 conference record, good enough for second place in the league, an impressive feat considering the Bearcats are last place in all but two offensive categories in the America East.
However, BU's pitching staff has the second-lowest ERA and second-lowest opposing batting average in the conference.
The team says, however, there's plenty to improve on before the post-season begins in two and a half weeks.
