HAMILTON, N.Y. - Having already set a program record with 14 wins this season including its first-ever NCAA tournament victory, the Colgate men's lacrosse team has its sights set on getting another in the Division I quarterfinals Sunday against Duke.
The unseeded Raiders are coming off a comeback victory over previously-undefeated No. 6-seed UMass and believe they match up well with the third-seeded Blue Devils. Each team scores more than 11 goals per game while allowing around nine and each features a Tewaaraton Award finalist: Colgate has Peter Baum, the leading scorer by far in Division I with 66 goals and 96 points, while Duke has longstick midfielder C.J. Costabile.
Sunday's game takes place at PPL Park outside of Philadelphia, Pa., and is set to start at 2:30 p.m. ESPNU will provide the telecast.
