SYRACUSE, N.Y. - With less than a month to go before NASCAR returns to Watkins Glen International, Sprint Cup Series driver Jeff Burton stopped in Syracuse on his way to this weekend's races in New Hampshire to begin drumming up interest.

Burton appeared at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que for a question-and-answer session with a select group of WGI fans then swung by a Ronald McDonald House for another meet-and-greet. He says Watkins Glen International is an exciting track as it mixes the need for finesse and aggressiveness and it's unlike any other road course in the world because of how fast drivers can go in spite of all of the turns.

The action at the Glen begins with practices and qualifying on Friday, Aug. 10, the Nationwide Series race follows on Saturday, and the Sprint Cup race is Sunday.
