BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A close game fell apart in the ninth inning for the B-Mets on Thursday as they returned from the All-Star break with an 11-7 loss to Erie.
Erie only led 8-7 entering the ninth before a three-run rally provided a cushion. Binghamton loaded the bases with none out in the bottom half but three-straight flyouts stranded the three runners.
Binghamton will try to rebound in a doubleheader against the SeaWolves Friday starting at 5:35 p.m.
