BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. - Cristoval "Boo" Nieves could not have been happier when the New York Rangers took him in the second round of the NHL Draft last month. Nieves grew up in Baldwinsville watching and rooting for the Rangers.

Nieves won't be turning pro right away, he's committed to playing at the University of Michigan starting this fall.
