SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Orange has more than a handful of running backs competing for the starting job vacated by Antwon Bailey. Jerome Smith is the leading returner, but he only ran for 134 yards last year.
Coach Marrone says no one has distinguished themselves so far, and it's very much an open competition for the job.
