WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. - As has been the case in previous years rain affected NASCAR's visit to Watkins Glen International on Friday but Sprint Cup Series drivers did manage to get in one practice.
Two of the previous three Sprint Cup Series races were postponed by rain and showers Friday morning forced one of the practices to be moved to Saturday morning. In the lone session that did run as scheduled Kurt Busch had the fastest speed at 125.055 miles per hour.
