BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The B-Mets closed out the season with an 8-5 loss to Trenton on Monday afternoon. Through Binghamton finished under .500 for the fourth straight season, manager Pedro Lopez sees plenty to be optimistic about.
Lopez points to the number of players that graduated to Triple-A and the majors this year after starting the year in Binghamton as signs the team did a good job in player development.
