WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Able to play the final game of the regular season with a playoff berth already secured, the Auburn Doubledays lost 8-4 at Williamsport and now look ahead to Tri-City in a best-of-three semifinal series starting Friday.

Auburn ended the regular season with a 46-30 record and an eighth division title in 11 years. Game 1 against Tri-City will be at Falcon Park this Friday night starting at 7:05 and Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) will be at Tri-City Saturday and Sunday. The Doubledays lost two of three meetings with the ValleyCats this year.
