WESTMORELAND, N.Y. - The Westmoreland football team only managed seven points on Sunday but its defense made that enough in a 7-6 win over Pulaski.
The Bulldogs (2-0) overcame a 6-0 halftime deficit in the third quarter thanks to a touchdown run and an extra point by quarterback Zack Green. Green finished with 156 yards on 16 carries and Westmoreland racked up 369 rush yards overall.
The game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday but severe weather postponed it to Sunday.
