BUFFALO, N.Y. - Utica senior Andrew Benkwitt threw six touchdown passes with the final one being his fourth to Jeremy Meier with 13 seconds left to beat Buffalo State 51-44 on Saturday.

The Pioneers trailed 44-29 in the fourth quarter before Benkwitt rallied them for the final 21 points. The final touchdown came after the defense forced and recovered a fumble in Bengals territory.

Benkwitt finished with 38 completions out of 58 attempts for 398 yards, Meier caught 12 passes for 148 yards, and Jamie Murphy had 11 receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown for Utica (3-2 overall, 1-1 Empire 8).

Utica native Rich Pete scored three touchdowns for Buffalo State (2-4, 0-3).
