SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Picked to finish last out of eight teams in their Big East division, the Syracuse University men's soccer team is instead in second place with two regular-season matches remaining.
With an 11-4 overall record Syracuse has the chance to clinch its first postseason berth since 2005 with a win Saturday over DePaul--which actually IS in last place--and also reach the highest single-season win total for the program since 1988.
The DePaul game is the regular-season home finale for the Orange, meaning it will be Senior Night. Gametime is scheduled for 7:30.
