SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse football head coach Doug Marrone said Thursday running backs Adonis Ameen-Moore and Ashton Broyld are doubtful to play at South Florida on Saturday, but kick returner Jeremiah Kobena should be back after missing the past five games with a hand injury.
Both Ameen-Moore and Broyld suffered undisclosed injuries during last week's win over UConn. Ameen-Moore is the featured part of SU's super-sized "tank" package for goal-line situations but Marrone says the other running backs are capable of filling in despite being smaller.
Syracuse and South Florida kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday. The game can be viewed on Time Warner Cable Sports and ESPN3.
