SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Another balanced effort and a better second half has the No. 9 Syracuse men's basketball team feeling ready for the regular season after it wrapped up its exhibition schedule with a 103-60 win over Division II Bloomsburg Sunday at the Carrier Dome.
Brandon Triche led the Orange with 23 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and two steals, Michael Carter-Williams had 15 points, eight assists with only two turnovers, six rebounds, and two steals, and James Southerland made all five of his 3-point attempts in finishing with 17 points, four rebounds, three assists, and also two steals.
Syracuse now gets ready to go from the Carrier Dome to an aircraft carrier as it opens the regular season Friday against No. 20 San Diego State on the deck of the USS Midway in San Diego.
