SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Maine-Endwell football team entered the season as the favorite to win the Class B state championship and on Saturday the Spartans delivered with a 42-12 rout of Glens Falls at the Carrier Dome.
The victory gives M-E, which won the Class A title last year, its second straight undefeated season and the Spartans finish with 669 points scored to only 131 allowed, an average game score of 51-10. They have now won 25-straight games, the longest active run in the state.
